The Dutch Politics Tour gives you a complete overview of the remarkable origin of The Hague’s city centre and its current place in the Dutch political system. You will visit both the Parliament buildings and the Hall of Knights*. Who build these historical places? What is ‘Prinsjesdag’ and why is it an important moment on the Dutch political calendar? And why did the House of Representatives move to a new building in 1992? These are just a few examples of the questions that will be answered by our guides during this tour.
All standard guided tours are conducted in Dutch. Each Saturday an English-spoken tour is offered.
On the Dutch-spoken tours ProDemos can provide an audio guide (max. 6 people per tour) for our individual foreign guests in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Handouts are also available in Chinese, Japanese, Polish and Russian. We recommend that you make your reservations in advance.
